DANGER OF MISSING HEAVEN !
If you and I Missed Heaven, What Becomes of Us After God’s Judgement?
The greatest question that every soul must confront is this: What becomes of us if we miss heaven? Life on earth may distract us with pursuits, struggles, ambitions, and pleasures, but when we stand before God’s judgment throne, nothing else will matter except where we will spend eternity.
The Bible declares, “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). That means one day, you and I will stand alone before our Creator to give account of how we lived. If we miss heaven, no excuse, title, wealth, or achievement can save us from the eternal consequence.
Heaven – The Prepared Place for a Prepared People
Heaven is not an accident; it is a prepared place for those who love and obey God. Jesus said, “I go to prepare a place for you” (John 14:2). It is the home of eternal joy, where there is no pain, no sorrow, no death. But only the redeemed—those washed by the blood of Christ—will enter.
If you and I neglect this great salvation, if we live as if life ends in the grave, we risk missing that glorious city.
What Happens If We Miss Heaven?
If we miss heaven, there is only one alternative—eternal separation from God. The Bible describes it as a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth, a place prepared not for man but for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41). But all who reject God’s mercy will share in that fate.
There, there will be no second chance, no repentance, no prayer heard, no gospel preached. The door of mercy will be closed forever.
After God’s Judgement – No Turning Back
When God passes His final judgment, destinies will be sealed. The rich, the poor, the strong, the weak, the pastor, the singer, the church worker, the unbeliever—we all will receive according to our works. If we miss heaven:
Regret will torment us – remembering sermons we ignored and chances we wasted.
Separation will grieve us – cut off from God’s presence forever.
Darkness will surround us – no hope, no light, no relief.
The greatest pain in hell is not the fire, but the eternal realization: “I had the chance to be saved, but I refused.”
Why We Must Not Miss Heaven
We must not miss heaven because eternity is forever. This world, with all its riches and pleasures, will pass away. But heaven is everlasting. Missing heaven means losing everything, forever. What shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul? (Mark 8:36).
A Call to Reflection
Let this question echo in our hearts daily: If I and you miss heaven, what becomes of us? It is a call to repentance, to holy living, to daily surrender to Christ. The gates of heaven are open today. Grace is calling. Salvation is still available.
Conclusion
Friend, life is short, but eternity is endless. After God’s judgment, there will be no “I am sorry.” Today is the day to seek the Lord while He may be found. Let not pleasure, pride, or procrastination rob us of heaven. For if we miss heaven, we have missed all.
Heaven must be our goal. Let nothing stand in our way.
