The question of whether God forbade women from wearing trousers has stirred debates among Christians for many years. Some strongly believe it is a sin for women to put on trousers, while others say clothing is about modesty, not gender-specific garments. To find the truth, we must look at the Bible, its context, and what God truly requires from His children.

The most commonly quoted scripture is Deuteronomy 22:5 (KJV):
> “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.”
